Flash version of PBX phone system officially being decommissioned

After 10+ years of very reliable service, a decision has been made to completely decommission the old flash-based PBX phone system grid.

On December 31, 2022, any configurations you had set in the old phone system will cease to function.

It served us well and was the basis for the new V2 version you see today. It made clear the need to separate the 2 products as well. Your phone number is one thing, the phone system is something else.

Older users who were pointing their FlyNumbers to the old PBX are grandfathered into the new system - free for life. If you haven’t already requested we enable it for you, just open a ticket from your account.

Please make sure to have your call flow configured before this date.

Let us know if you need any help.

If you haven’t done so already please move your PBX V1 flow to the new PBX V2 (ie Phone System V2) .

This cut off for the old PBX is imminent.

For those that need flash support to access your old (or new) PBX, the Pale Moon bowser has flash support built in. It was the most painless way I found to regain access.

Thanks for this however please also keep in mind that the PBX v1 is an EOL product (end-of-life) so even if you can access the panel, the configurations won’t work. If you can please move your call flow logic to the new phone system.

The new phone system (PBX) uses html 5 technology so no need for flash.
