Hi, newbie here trying to set up Zoiper SIP Account. The setup guide states that: "Once you drag the “ring group” module onto the grid it will ask you to set it up. As a “contact method” you’ll want to choose “ SIP Account“.
But that does not happen. When I drag the ring group onto the grid I only get the option of adding a new contact or contact center.
Please provide correct description on how to set up SIP accounts.
Correct, first add the contact name, (e.g. John Doe) and then it will promopt you for the “contact method” , which could be a SIP account, SIP forwarding or phone number.
In your case it looks like you want “Sip account” , the system will then provide SIP credentials you can use for incoming/outgoing calls.
If you have issues let us know and we can set this up from here, our configuration changes will show up on your panel so visually you’ll see what we did.
Hi, yes, I think I need technical assistance to set up the SIP account. I am using Zoiper, which tells me that Account is ready, but I cannot complete calls.
Im thinking the issue could be the number (its needs to be registered), I know you mentioned forwarding working earlier which was interesting however your ticket was updated.
