Receiving sms correctly

Hi

I have a new mobile UK number 074…

I have come across a few situations recently where the automated system needing to send a sms was unable to complete the sms.

The number can be called successfully.

Are you aware of any issues with using virtual numbers receiving sms successfully. One situation what a bank being unable to completing the sms.

Any suggestions.

Our numbers are not guaranteed to work as far as SMS verification ( banks for example). This isn’t really something we can control.

Some short code carriers (that a bank may use) have arrangements to exchange messages with mobile phone numbers only
