Questions About Payment Limits, Israeli Number Type, and Pricing

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding how FlyNumber works:

  1. Spending Control:
Is it possible to top up a one-time amount to my account, and then once that amount is used up, block any further usage or payments? I want to have full control over my expenses and ensure I can’t be charged beyond the amount I choose to load.

  2. Israeli Local Number Identification:
I’m interested in getting a local Israeli landline number (not a mobile number), without SMS functionality.
From what I understand, numbers marked with an “F” and without an “S” are landline-only and have no SMS support — is that correct?

  3. Pricing Clarification:
What would be the total cost for having a non-free Israeli landline number?

  • How much would it cost with/without outgoing calls?
Also, are incoming calls completely without any extra fee?

I found the explanations on the website a bit unclear, so I’d appreciate a detailed answer.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @sms - thanks for posting.

Yes, you can set the account to notify you when it falls too low, and it will not auto-bill at all.

Yes, that’s correct. The only Israeli numbers capable of SMS are the “Mobile” 972-55 numbers.

The number is 2.95 USD, and you can receive unlimited incoming (via VOIP) with that.

Outgoing calls would need the phone system (for now, as we are working on an internal incoming/outgoing solution that doesn’t involve the phone system) + a per minute rate depending on where you call.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
