Since I requested to change my Caller ID to my mobile number on March 14, 2025, my virtual numbers’ ringback tone has gone completely silent. When someone calls my virtual numbers, they hear no ringing tone—just silence until I answer.
I contacted support and was instructed to upload a ringback tone audio file, which I did, but it still does not work. This issue remains unresolved, and now I have not received any response from support for the last four days.
I have spent far too much time testing and troubleshooting this issue with no success. I also checked the forums but found no solution that worked.
I have three different virtual numbers and a Phone System setup:
- Two DID numbers are set to “Call Flow” under Incoming Call Routing.
- One DID number is set to “Default Routing.”
This issue is disrupting my service, and I need an immediate resolution. Is this a known issue? Are other customers experiencing the same problem, or is this affecting only my account?
