I have a mobile phone number in sweden that is still active but barely used, I need to port it out due to country-wide network changes in 2026 that will block some phone models.
I noticed mentioned somewhere that SMS capability in Sweden had been in development, but didnt find confirmation that it had been finished.
So if I use FlyNumber to port this number, assuming there is no problem with the port, would I be able to forward SMS messages to my other mobile number, or to a VoIP app?
Is there a VoIP app that is recommended over the others?

We should be able to port the Sweden mobile number without issues - keep in mind there is a one-time $75 fee to port in Sweden mobile numbers.

Well, if you’re using our phone system, there is an app that’s integrated with it - otherwise, we really like Groundwire (one-time paid app).
Normally, the phone system is 14.95, but in this case, you can get it enabled for 9.95 - if you need simple incoming and outgoing, you can cancel it in a couple of months when the new panel is launched, where incoming/outgoing will come with each FlyNumber without the phone system.
