Clarification on address requirements for Spanish virtual numbers

I’m interested in purchasing a Spanish virtual number that will allow me to:

  • Make outbound calls showing the Spanish caller ID
  • Receive incoming calls on the same number

I’m an EU citizen and can provide my passport, but I don’t have a Spanish address.

On your product page (Virtual phone numbers from Spain | FlyNumber) I see that National numbers require “an address in Spain with a utility bill not older than six months.” However, I don’t see a similar requirement listed for Local Spanish numbers.

Have I understood correctly that I can order a Local (+34) Spanish number without providing a Spanish address, and still use it for both incoming and outgoing calls? Or is there anything else I should be aware of?

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting @Henrik

We need to update the Spain page to make things clearer. We actually have a new panel in the works which will help clarify a lot of this.

Yes, local numbers will also need an address in Spain, as well as any bill, statement, or invoice no older than six months.

Regulations change, but unfortunately, they usually get stricter rather than more lenient. There was actually a time when you could get a local Spain number with no special registration at all, no documents, no Spain address, etc. Good times.

Thanks, and I’m here if you need anything.

Allow me to also add, if you have a close relative, friend, or business, we could try to put the number under their name.

Technically, they would need to be the ones using the number, though.

@FlyNumber Thanks a lot for the clarification!
