Hi I am new to VOIP/softphone world. I need to buy a US number and make calls with it from my iPhone. Which provider to you recommend? It looks like in the form I need to setup my account with the provider first before applying for the number right?
Ultimately I just need to get this number ASAP so whatever is easiest. Any advice welcome thanks!

If youre looking for the quickest and cheapest method, you can just use sip2sip.info and Zoiper (free VoIP app)
Not really, you can do that anytime.
You can choose VoIP, in host enter iptel.org and details enter music. This will get you started with the number ASAP.
We will have our own internal VoIP coming out soon but for now you can use the blog post I mentioned above, you may want to consider our phone system but perhaps youre not looking to spend the extra 9.95 USD (limited offer) right now. With that you can use the free app to make and receive calls quickly
