Sign up says phone number invalid

I tried my Skype number and my office number for the “Phone Number” field for signing up, but that didn’t allow me to sign up. I am hoping to port my Skype number–can you help me? I have a non-US mobile number also.

Yes we sure can, porting from Skype is free and we just need your email to send the form.

Yes, I was using the direct registration form. Do I enter the phone number as the 10-digit US number with no spaces? Is it OK to enter my Skype number for the phone number here and then enter it as when I create a ticket for the port?

Yes, that’s correct. That should work fine. Add the 1 in front of it just to be clear; however, either way works.

Great question. Ideally, you enter a phone number we can put on file that is not the number you want to port in. This is more important on the actual port-in form, so you can use your Skype number here (this can be changed later anytime via account settings).
