You can use our numbers with Vapi, yes; however, keep in mind the outgoing calls would be handled on the Vapi side. Make sure to check out this section of our docs

i understand that i would have to pay vapi for their fees my question is will there bee other fees after i pay for the number from flynumber side also thank you for repsonding this fast its very proffesional and i really appreaciate it

If you’re using VAPi for outgoing, then no. Incoming calls to VAPi will be handled by us, and since you’re forwarding to VoIP (VAPi SIP), there will be no per minute rate from our end—just the $2.95 USD per month for the FlyNumber itself.

That’s not an issue. Just click sign up while logged in and order a new number in your area.

this is so unserious how cant u handle a single client like im not gonna order another number and wait 48 hours just to get a response also it makes no sense why do i need to buy the number from my area ive encountered this only to your site again im down to buy new number if u refund me for the other one and if u acitvate the new one in 1 hour

Please place the order and choose to pay with your prepaid balance — the first payment was never used, so there’s no need to pay again.

i added 20 dollars to my funds so ican buy clode phone system and another number why is the funds panding they already went out my card

Hi FlyNumbers team,

Following up on my setup — inbound calls are now working great with VAPI. However I’m running into an issue with outbound calls.

When VAPI tries to place outbound calls through my FlyNumber, phone.systems returns 480 Temporarily Unavailable and the Route shows as “-” in the call logs.

Looking at my phone.systems dashboard, I don’t see an “Outbound Trunks” section. Is outbound voice termination available on FlyNumber accounts? If yes, how do I enable it?

It is enabled and it shows up as “Termination gateways” and “termination routes.”

You might want to look into the route as the call logs (you can also see this within the phone system) are failing because of the + sign being used to call out. Can you try to have Vapi call out without the +, or edit the termination route to strip the +?

i am still having a problem making the outboand calls i dont know where the problem is now at least it says the call was made but the costumer didnt respond wich in this cse the costumer is and and im not reciving any call

Hi @DomenikoHibroj,

You are not receiving calls because the main setting in My Flyunumbers is set directly to a SIP URL, not the phone system, so whatever is set for incoming in the phone system is not being used.

We just changed this for you, so now incoming calls will route based on whatever is set in the phone system.

Also, check your “Call Analytics” section in the phone system panel itself to see if there are any issues with calls. Outbound seems to be working OK. If this persists, share the logs from Vapi, wherever this is working.
