Can South Korean Virtual Phone Numbers be used for the chatting app LINE?

Hi All,

So I was just wondering whether if anyone has had the opportunity to test and see whether if their Virtual Korean Phone number can be used to verify yourself on the messenger app LINE.

I have some Korean friends on LINE, but I can’t add them or talk to them unless I enter in a Korean phone number.

Thanks for posting @PhoneCalls20, and perhaps someone could chime in here…

We’ll also add that we’d be issued a South Korea toll-free number, and those do not come with SMS at the moment, so not sure that would work. However, perhaps there is a way to verify service with SK with a phone call (their system calls the SK number, plays a code, and you enter it into the system somehow).
