Getting a german phone number and redirecting all calls to my local argentinian number

Im living in argentina now but need recruiters to be able to contact me on a german phone number. I need all calls to this new german number to be able to be forwarded and picked up in my argentinian number. Is this something that you offer and if so, can you specifically tell me the pricing for argentina (city is bariloche)? Is there any kyc or documents involved and if so, can I use my argentinian documents?

Thanks.

Hi @Stompy,

Thanks for posting and considering us here.

We do have German numbers and can forward them to Argentina or VOIP without issues.

There is where you might run into a problem - Germany happens to be one of the most strict when it comes to issuing phone numbers. They will need proof of address in Germany, details here.

Aah bummer! Theres no workaround for this then? Id be happy to provide my documents but they would be argentinian not german.

lasttly, if theres no other workaround, maybe my brother who actually lives in germany and has residence documents can open it under his name and lend it to me for me to use? He already has a personal phone number under his name, is there any issue or flag triggered or something if someone opens more than one phone number under the same identity? Apologies for the sort of ignorant question, I am still trying to learn how all this works!

This is possible, however, it’s up to our relevant partners on whether they would approve this or not. If we can’t get the number live, we would, of course, cancel/refund the order.

Not at all, and appreciate your feedback. Here to help and hopefully, we can get this one for you.

Thanks and standing by.

Hello. Im back! I forgot to mention that I am also an italian national so I also hold an italian passport, would that still require a legal German address?

Hi @Stompy,

I hope all is well.

You would still need a German address; however, the Italian ID/passport works as long as you have one of these:

Anmeldebescheinigung, Meldebescheinigung, or Wohnungsbescheinigung.

As per:

Ouch. Can I use my brothers address which is were I stay everytime im in germany? Its literally where I will be at.

Or do I need documents that have my name in the appartment renting contract or similar?

That can and should work - you’d need to send his matching photo ID as well. Thanks, and let us know.
