French number required but it’s complicated

my son is in prison in France - I am in the uk

He is permitted to make calls but calls to the uk are very expensive where calls to french numbers are not

I need a french geographical number starting with 01 through to 05 so he can call me and only be charged for calling a french number

Then when I have this french number, I presume when it’s called, it is forwarded onto my uk number ?

Can you confirm if you can offer me this number and also confirm what the monthly costs would be to me and if there are costs for receiving the forwarded call ?

Presently I have a french mobile number that he calls (06 prefix) but the reception is very poor and I have to pay a lot for it as I am using it outside of France more than inside the eu so not using fair data roaming

please let me know if you can help

Thanks for posting, we appreciate you considering us.

Sorry to hear - it’s also an issue in the States. Very expensive for inmates to communicate.

At the moment, we can supply a National France 33-9 number. Do you know if that would work? (We would still need a France address to register it under - no docs needed though)

Otherwise, a France local number (for example, with a Paris prefix) would require business verification, as the registration process recently updated their requirements.

We’re currently out of stock with National 33-9 numbers, but we plan on getting them back soon.

Thank you for getting back to me

Unfortunately the 33 9 numbers are not suitable

I need to have 33 1 to 33 5 numbers

If in the future you have these I would love to know

Thanks again x

No worries @Poe and thanks for the update.

We do have them, it’s just that they need to go under a business - hopefully, this changes in the future.

Thanks
