Every time I enter my fly number into a Portugal website or app phone number field it says the phone number is not valid

I’ve tried it on a government site and on Bolt ride share app.

Sorry to hear that, and unfortunately, this is not something we can control. Keep in mind that Portugal numbers do not have SMS (at least not yet).

It might be worth contacting them and letting them know this is indeed your local Portugal number; however, at the end of the day, it’s up to them to accept the number.

Portugal is somewhat unique in that the numbers are local “National” numbers. People in Portugal can call them without issues as they are local, but they are not of the mobile or “geographic” type.
