Getting a +39 number for outbound calls as a foreign EU company with no physical Italian presence

Hi,

We’re a Swedish-registered company looking to make outbound calls to customers in Italy, and we want them to see a legitimate +39 number when we call. We have no establishment in Italy and won’t be setting one up, so we have no Italian address, no Italian VAT and no Italian fiscal code.

We do have a Swedish company registration number, an EU VAT number, and can provide a representative’s passport for ID verification.

Given AGCOM’s rules and the E.T.Na registry, what’s the correct way for a foreign EU company like us to obtain and hold a genuine +39 number (mobile or otherwise) for outbound calling, without an Italian address? Which number type would you recommend for our situation, and what documentation would you need from us?

Thanks

Hi @Victor_Baggio,

Our Italian partners don’t allow the registration of Italy numbers without an address there.

The alternative is an Italian toll-free number; allow me to confirm how outbound may work with this, and I will update this thread accordingly.
