I would prever to keep my numbers independent from Amazon should I ever decide to change platforms, is this something that can be done? Are there any caveats? I couldn’t find any documentation online.

Does amazon connect allow incoming traffic? Meaning, can I set a phone number to an amazon connect SIP address? (something like [email protected] )
When you call this phone number, we will send it to the amazon connect SIP uri
If that’s the case, then yes we can probably help you. Are you looking to port in a number or purchase a new one?
