Hi,
Iam looking for a virtual number / DID number in Philippines and need to make and receive calls on the number linked to my own VOIP PBX setup. As i understood, the incoming calls are free when routed to Voip. however for outgoing calls, when checked in call rates page, i see “standard”, “EU”, “local”. So when “standard” is selected, i see some price like $0.1635, etc for philippines number. but when i select “Local” i see empty values under “rates” column for the philippines. I saw the virtual number cost as $14.95 per number. considering the person is local (residing in philippines) and would like to call local philippines number itself, can someone answer / update below queries:
- One DID number: $14.95 per number per month with unlimited channels (unlimited concurrent calls)
- Cost of Incoming is $0 if terminated to my own Voip.
- Cost of outgoing calls? pls share a confirmed price and also which one should i look at “Standard” or “local” - a bit of confusion.
- Is there any unlimited outgoing calls package for Philippines?
- If there are no unlimited concurrent calls on 1 DID, then how many concurrent calls are possible on 1 DID / virtual number?
Appreciate to provide answers / update / suggestions for the above please.
Thanks for your interest in our Philippines virtual numbers. I need to clarify a few important points about how these numbers work:
Important: Philippines Numbers Are Metered
Philippines DIDs have an incoming per-minute rate regardless of how you forward them — similar to toll-free numbers. This is $0.236 per minute, even when forwarding to VoIP. This means incoming calls are not free for Philippines numbers.
Outgoing Calls
Philippines DIDs do not support outgoing calls through FlyNumber. You would need to use your own VoIP PBX for outbound calling.
Your Questions Answered:
- DID cost: Correct — $14.95 per month per number
- Incoming calls: $0.236 per minute (metered), regardless of forwarding method
- Outgoing calls: Not available with Philippines DIDs
- Unlimited outgoing package: Not applicable — outgoing calls aren’t supported
- Concurrent calls: By default each number comes with 2 incoming channels
You can find more details about metered rates here: Per min rates
If you need both incoming and outgoing calling for Philippines numbers, you may want to consider routing incoming calls to your own VoIP PBX (where you’ll still pay the $0.236/min incoming rate), and handling all outbound calls directly through your PBX using your own SIP trunk.
