Forwarding SMS Number

HI @OurFreeSociety

This should be live in about a week, and the prices will be available then.

It will enable incoming/outgoing calls as well as outgoing SMS (US outgoing SMS might be a little late due to internal red tape).

Please also check your email as you were updated there as well.

Appreciate your patience here.

Thanks. I hope you LMK when the calling woks.

Take care

My pleasure and sure thing.

We appreciate your business (and patience here).

Hi,

It’s been another week.

Yes, as there are many moving parts, we are in the final stages of testing.

Hi,

Do you know how much longer?

The launch will happen any day now; however, USA outbound SMS won’t be at the same time, unfortunately.

Also, we will need to register the business to get outbound US (SMS) working in your account. Outbound SMS is subject to very strict regulations.

More info on this soon.

I can’t believe this. Why didn’t you tell us about this weeks ago about having to have a registered business???

Now you wasted months of my time for nothing.

I’m NOT registering a business to call one or two numbers a year.

NOT HAPPY.

Hi @OurFreeSociety

The internal SIP is live and does not need any special type of registration - we were referring to outbound US SMS (which is still not live yet).

You can now call out with a US number (without the phone system).

Oh, I don’t need outbound texting, just calls. You didn’t say that the business registration was just for SMS.

I tried to review the link you gave me & either I’m too tired, or it’s just too technical for me.

What steps do I do to just make a call to a US number with my fly number?

What do you mean without the phone system? I was just going to use my headset on my computer, can’t I do that?

Also, why do I keep getting emails saying I’m being charged money for the SMS charges? Why aren’t you billing me once a month or something.

I’m literally getting emails every day or every other day or something. It’s very annoying.

Ok, I tried to look in my invoices area, do you bill out for those SMS notifications once a week?

Thanks

Valid point and we updated the previous post.

I would advise signing up for a fresh account on the new FlyNumber system, just let me know if it’s OK to delete the old account and move the funds.

Once you’re on the new panel, it’s much easier for us to debug and help set this up.

I thought I responded to this. sigh

I don’t want a new account, I need the number I already have. Why do I need a new account? I don’t understand. Can’t you just move my number to a new account?

Can someone contact me please.

Thanks

They are completely new systems, but we will have the logic to move your old number very shortly, early next week.

Apologies, as I know you already waited a while for this.

Ok, please LMK when it’s finished.

Thanks

Did you get my email re: my billing?

It says I’m low & I thought I was on credit card, so I’m all confused now.

Yes, and this was replied to

The card on file exists; however, the account is set to send you a notification instead of auto-refilling. You can change this in My Account > Account Settings.

More info here:

I didn’t get a response back to my email re: this issue & also where the new system is so I can make my 30 sec call. sigh

Hi @OurFreeSociety,

We will manually get you on the new panel if you prefer to use the same email from the legacy account - we updated you via email on this.

Thanks and standing by.

Still waiting. sigh

I responded on the 7th saying yes, use the same email & you never responded back re: that, only the billing part of the email. SMH

Hi @OurFreeSociety,

We see the request and it’s actively being worked on. We will have the ability to move the number to the new panel in the coming days, hopefully no later than the end of the business week.
